It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Story Himes of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Edward Schenck and Bonnie Lou Mason Schenck. She is survived by: her husband Timothy Peterson Himes; her daughters, Amber Michelle Himes and Brittany Dawn Himes; her granddaughter Luna Rae Crowther; her brothers, Danny Schenck (Debbie) and Randal Schenck (Beth); her mother-in-law Phares Sechler; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Himes (Mary), Michael Thomas and Joy Burleson (Tony). She is also survived by six nieces: four nephews: fifteen great-nephews and eight great-nieces: many "adopted" children and grandchildren.
