He is survived by: his daughters, April Sipes Calhoun (Cameron) of Concord, NC and Kristin Sipes Wray (Allen) of Kings Mountain; his grandsons, Christopher and Noah Wray of Kings Mountain; and his siblings, Troy Franklin Sipes of Cartlidge, NC, George Sipes (Libby) of Linwood, Rodger Sipes (Lisa) of Seminole, FL, Margaret Wessman (Eddie) of Salisbury and Frances Boger (Baxter) of Mocksville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
