He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Lee "Red" Thomas; his wife Linda Park Thomas; and his brothers, Jimmy D. Thomas and Ricky L. Thomas. He is survived by: his sister Renee Barker; his children, Sandy Chris Thomas (Susan), Chipper Eugene Thomas and Ginger Rebecca Thomas (Jack); his grandchildren, Shawn Thomas (Kelli), Scott Thomas (Courtney), Spencer Thomas (Amanda), Saharrah Thomas, Saybrin Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Clarissa Pekala, Allison Propst and Matthew Propst; and his great grandchildren, Finnley Thomas, Tucker Thomas and Bentley Propst. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Faith Lutheran Church-Family Life Center.
