She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Dover Conner and Pansy Elizabeth Moses Conner; and her brother Kevin Conner. She is survived by: her husband Charles Ray Shoemaker; her children, Carrie Melton (Steve), Charles Ray Shoemaker, Jr. (Lisa) and Matthew Shoemaker (Jenny); her grandchildren, Michael "Bubba" Melton (Katie), Rachel Shoemaker, Conner Melton, Bryson Shoemaker, Landon Shoemaker, Sadie Melton, Raelyn Shoemaker and Grayson Shoemaker; and her siblings, David Conner (Carolyn) and Vickie Peacock (Howard). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home (1420 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Northcrest Chapel of the Funeral Home.
