She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Doby and Dollie Seaford Doby; and her sister Debbie D. Snider. She is survived by: her husband Maxwell W. Goode, Jr.; her sons, Jason Daze Windsor (Athena) and Dillon Michael Ridge Carter (Suzy); her grandchildren, Sebastian, Elijah, Malachi, Artimus and Ella; her siblings, Donna Crowell, Fay McCoy (Robin), Tina Corriher and Donald E Doby, Jr. (Billy); and her friend Crystal Boyd. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Carmel Baptist Church (2100 Mooresville Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147).
