It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Avery Butler of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Edward Butler Jr. and Sudie Morris Butler; his siblings, Nicole Bost (Marvin) of Salisbury, NC, Edward Butler, III of Kannapolis, NC, Charles Butler, Sr. (Sabrina) of Kannapolis, NC, Dale Butler (Kiara) of Concord, NC and Carlos Butler (Crystal) of Kannapolis, NC; and his close friends, Sheila Black, Barry Moody and Marvin Bost.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Piney Grove Baptist Church (1000 S Chapel St, Kannapolis, NC 28081). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Va National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144). Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
