He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Climmer Boyd and Cassie Marie Earnheart Boyd; and his brother Edward Robin Boyd. He is survived by: his son Matthew Paul Boyd of Salisbury; and his sister Rebecca "Becky" Boyd Phelps of Cleveland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
