She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Haynes, Sr. and Molly Scott Haynes; her husband Glenn Deal; her daughters, Regina Rogers and Margie Downum; and her siblings, Raymond R. Haynes, Jr., Joe Haynes, James Haynes, Colleen H. Hoffner, Janice Lentz, Wilma M. Haynes, Sara Francis Haynes, Anderson "Bud" Haynes, Gaynell H. Schaffer and Sandra H. Frick.
She is survived by: her sons, Marty Lowman (Kathy), Phil Lowman (Talitha) and Tommy Lowman (Christine); and her brother Bill Haynes. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gold Hill Wesleyan Church (830 Liberty Rd, Gold Hill, NC 28071). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
