He is survived by: his nephews, Nicholas Edward McAuliffe (Candice) of Manchester, ME and Brendan Daniel McAuliffe of Seattle, WA; and his stepdaughters, Angela Starnes Gallimore (Danny) of Rockwell, NC and Amy Ruth Starnes of Mocksville, NC..
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christiana Lutheran Church (6190 US-52, Salisbury, NC 28146).
