She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Adeline Leazer McBride and Gilmer France McBride; her daughter Teresa Dawn Pless; and her sisters, Joyce McBride Owens, Sylvia McBride Barber and Carolyn McBride.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey James Grubb of Lexington, Gregory Thomas Grubb (Betty) of Lexington, Freda Ruth Grubb O'Quinn (Timothy) of Lexington and Sherri Lea Grubb Hall (Donnie) of Lexington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
