She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Wade Holder and Effie Idaliah Michael Holder; her husband Robert Morris; her half-brother William Miller Jr.; and her son Ted Morris.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Morris of Troy, OH and Ann Cooper (Lennie) of Richfield; and her grandchildren, David Morris (Sonya), Jeff Morris, Ellen Morris (Mattley Byerly), Aimee Frantz (Jim), Nicole Brown and Kelly Reich Byrd. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Tillery Compassionate Care at 960 N First St, Albemarle, NC 28001.
