Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Long; her children, Shane, Jimmy and Michelle; her children-in-law, Dede, Andrew and Tenea; and her grandchildren, Virginia, Jackson, Josiah and Rory.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
