She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Walters Pegram and Wayne Arthur Pegram of Anson County, NC.; and her husband William Dent Lackey. She is survived by: her children, Angela Tucker and David Tucker (Carla); her grandchildren, Meredith Webster (Ryan), Evan Arnold, Bradley Thompson, Christian Thompson, Brittany Thompson, Courtney Thompson, Sybil and Mama Sybil; her great grandchild Georgia Grace Webster; her sister-in-law Diane Yett (Charlie); and her sibling's children, Carla Griffin and Lane Griffin.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 728 Klumac Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
