He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Willis Elrod and Helen Freeze Elrod; and his son Nathan Ross Elrod. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Smith Elrod; his children, Christopher Elrod and Shannon Eury (Josh); his siblings, Nick Elrod (Lori) and Debbie Hood (Phil); his stepmother Betty Elrod; his stepsister Lora Brown (Doug); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Drew Elrod and Nathan Eury (Ben). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
