It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Van Madray of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Madray and Betty Madray; and his brother Mark Madray. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Butler Madray; his children, Daniel Madray, Katharine Madray Wheeles and Laura Madray Brown; his grandchildren, Logan, Christian, Brian, Hailey, Emma, Kaylynn, Freya and Ellie; and his brother Joel.

In lieu of sending flowers Van's family is asking for donations on his behalf to: Pitt County Habitat for Humanity, Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church Food Pantry in Hanahan, SC or to Rowan County Helping Hands Ministry.
