He was predeceased by: his wife Lillie Mae "Till" Griffin Brown; his father Walter Lee; and his son-in-law T. I. Honeycutt, Jr.. He is survived by: his sibling Hoyle Brown (Zenna) of Salisbury; and his children, Alvin Brown (Anne) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Wanda Honeycutt of Salisbury, Dawn Sellers (Wayne) of Kannapolis and Johnnie Brown (Amy) of Salisbury. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Phaniels Baptist Church at the aforementioned address or Novant Health Hospice, 310 S. Main St. Suite 105, Salisbury, NC 28144.
