She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Parham and Oscar Aspen Simmons; her daughter Donna Loflin; and her siblings, William, Larry, Bob Simmons, Hazel Caughenour and Mazelle Roach.

She is survived by: her husband Oliver Pruett; her children, David Wayne Pruett (Jessica) of Salisbury, Sherry Leonard (Jimmy) of Salisbury and Patty Pruett of Salisbury; her sister Shirley Patrick of Georgia; her grandchildren, Tony Leonard, Chris Leonard, Karen Johnson, Deven Pruett and Alysa Pruett; and her great grandchildren, Adam Thompson, Natalie Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Austin Johnson and Harvey Leonard.
