He was predeceased by: his parents, Erna Augusta Schaedel and Edward W. Behrendt; and his brothers, Donald Behrendt and Edward Behrendt. He is survived by: his wife Linda Tancordo Behrendt; his sons, Richard Behrendt of Hilliard, OH and James Behrendt (Catherine) of Ann Arbor, MI; his grandsons, Cory Behrendt, John Behrendt and Michael Behrendt; his sibling's children, Donald Behrendt (Kathy) of Strongsville, OH, Rev. Joshua Tancordo (Becky) and Elizabeth Tancordo; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Tancordo and Nick Tancordo (Linda).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Capital Building Fund.
