He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Porter and Geniva Barrait Porter; and his siblings, Debbie Huffstetler, Robert T. Porter and Johnny Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Porter; his children, Heather Gulledge (Justin), Hollie Duncan (Cody), Dylan Porter, Cassie Overcash and Rebecca Porter; and his grandchildren, Jaydyn Duncan, Ruby Porter, William Porter, Paisley Beaver, Ezra Gulledge, Ethan Gulledge, Willow Porter, Daisy Duncan, Aurora Porter, Riley Barton and Tripp Canaday.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138).
