She is survived by: her children, Kristi Carter (Nick), André Sparrow (Nita) and Anthony Sparrow (Nancy); her grandchildren, Tish Carter, Nicholas Carter (Laura), Brian Sparrow (Kimberly), Lewis Sparrow (Benita), Barclay Sparrow (Sam) and Abby Profancik (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Lilly Begley, Ty Begley, Henry Carter, Kirsten Sparrow, Madison Sparrow, Addison Sparrow, Annabel Sparrow and Sawyer Sparrow; and her siblings, Nellie Williams, Mable Howell (Bruce), Glynda Crousore, Janet Faccinto (Louis) and Gerald Smith. She is also survived by nephew and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bogue Banks Baptist Church. A committal service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
