He was predeceased by: his parents, Junie Eugene Hines, Jr. and Pansy Bray Hines Starling; and his brother Oventon Eugene Hines. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Ann Rafael (Juan) of Florida; his grandchildren, Dawn Marie Rafael and Jonathan Gregory Rafael; and his siblings, Peggy Cole of Florida, Cathy Johnson of South Carolina, Lilly Johnson of North Carolina, June Rigsby of Florida, Janet Littlejohn of South Carolina and John Hines of Florida.
