She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thomas and Josie Roberts Thomas; her former husband David Virgil Pace; and her siblings, Lela, Ellen, Bertha, Lillie Mae, Delno, Dillard and Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Saluda Exxon; her children, Roger Pace of Saluda and Wanda Cannon (Michael) of Hendersonville; her granddaughters, Chelsa Cannon and Natalie Pressley (Ethan); her great grandchildren, Kennedy Pressley, Emersyn Pressley and Truett Pressley; her sister Martha Littrell of Bulls Gap, Tennessee.; and her niece Phyllis Cole.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the McFarland Funeral Chapel (54 McFarland Dr, Tryon, NC 28782). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at the Mountain Page Baptist Church Cemetery.
