He was predeceased by: his parent Margie Gray Nelson. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark Mabe (Suzanne), Susan Mabe Albright (Dale), Ricky Mabe of Cana, VA and Patricia; his uncle James Nelson (Hazel); and his aunt Betty Mabe Sandy Ridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
