She is survived by: her children, Melissa Simms-Ireland (Dean), Melondie Maria Simms and Christopher Jordan Simms; her siblings, Martin "Marty" Luther Kirby, Jr. (Tammy), Jeanette Marie Kirby Titvo (Slava) and Eloise Kirby Stout (Bill); and her cousins, Susan Sellheim and Patrick Kirby (Connie). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
