We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2024, at the age of 88, Dorothy Shaffer (Sandy Ridge, North Carolina), born in Danbury, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Aldine; her sisters, Marjorie Grogan and Linda Jones; her parents, Ersie Oakley and Harry Foil Oakley; and her son Steven Bradley Shaffer.
She is survived by : her daughter Denise Jordan (John); her daughter-in-law Nell Gollnick (Denny); her grandchildren, Travis Williams (Annie), Danielle Williams (Paul), Nathan Shaffer (Wendy), Elliott Williams-Caperton (Adam) and Erin Shaffer (Harrison); her great grandchildren, Asher, Bennett, Dawson, Paul Ervin, Shields and Zoiee; her nieces and nephews, Jayson Grogan (Tracy) and Beverly Snow (Mark); and her great-nephews, Brian and Bryce.
