We announce the death of Geraldine Emily Myers Scott of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 89. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Everett Myers and Elizabeth Joyce Myers; her husband Curtis Wayne Scott; her siblings, Eugene, James, Paul, William, Scott, Clifton, Charles, John, Clinard, Leroy, Mary, Annie, Rachel, Micky and Peggy; her stepson Donnie Scott; and her grandson Cody Scott.

She is survived by: her sons, William Ziglar, Tommy Ziglar (Cindy) and Ernie Ziglar; her stepchildren, Steve Scott, Mike Scott (Patty), Phyllis Scott Williams, Tootie Scott and Renee Scott; her brother Buddy Joe Myers (Pat); her grandchildren, Ryan Ziglar (Ashley), Matthew Ziglar (Shara), Mallie Ziglar Oakes (Caleb), Davy Patterson and Chad Scott; and her great grandchildren, Jakeb, Abigail Ziglar, John Oakes, Myka, Bryson and Cyera Patterson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
