He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Flynt and Mary Mounce Flynt; his siblings, Alan, George, Dewitt Flynt, Roumel Doub and Betty Barker; his brothers-in-law, Roger Doub, Kenneth Barker and Bobby Adams; and his close friend Chris Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Farmer Flynt; his sister Alice Adams; his daughters, Leigh Anne Flynt (Mark), Leslie Warren, Tracey Barczy (Jody) and Alison Hall (Stacy); his grandchildren, Ashley Freeman (Daniel), Carley Bray (Josh), Brooke Gary (Joe), Josh Barczy (Leah), Rita Hall, Nolan Warren (Morgan) and Treyana Hall; his great grandchildren, Lakyn Gary, Nova Jo Freeman, Addaline Barczy, Josie Gary, Ayla Gary, Lennon Bray and JB Barczy; and his close friend Ronnie Skinner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery (4128 North Carolina Hwy 704 E, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046).
