It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Craddock Nelson (Sandy Ridge, North Carolina), who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lee Craddock and Hester Stegall Craddock; and her sons, William DeCarol Nelson and James Anthony Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Nelson (Mary), Ronnie Nelson (Anne) and Eugene Nelson (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Nelson; her grandchildren, Shawn Nelson, Shannon Mabe, Brian Nelson (Jennifer), Angel Vernon, Amy Nelson, Zora Nelson and Ellie Nelson; her great grandchildren, McCrea Mabe, Caleb Mabe, Khloe Presnell, Kyler Lemons and Lukas Nelson; her siblings-in-law, Betty Mabe, Margie Nelson, Dorothy Craddock and James Nelson; and her close friends, Junior Williams and Pat Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
