She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Brydson (Agnes "Nancy" Brydson) and Scottish; and her former husband Dr. Alvin Rae MacKay. She is survived by: her friend Annie; her caregivers, Charity, Dolly and Sharon; her husband David; her daughters, Linda Joiner (David) of Worton and Lorna Ronald (Francis Ronald) of Guelph, Ontario; her grandchildren, Amy Joiner Fermin (Jose Fermin) of Cary, N. C., Jennifer Craven (Michael) of Raleigh, N. C., David Joiner of Galena, MD. and Christopher Ronald (Alli) of Holly Springs, N. C.; her great grandchildren, Kayla Fermin, Eli Craven, Blayke Craven and Madeline Ronald; and her close friend Benson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Buffalo Cemetery (1333 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
