She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Woodrow Henley and Pauline Hunt Henley; her husband John Griffin; and her siblings, Raymond Woodrow Henley, Jr. and Carolyn Henley Massey.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Denkins (Randy) of Sanford; her stepchildren, Steve Griffin (Tim Thomas), Janet Mashburn of Broadway and Judy Shaw of Pittsboro; and her grandchildren, Tina Lee, Eddie Deal, Jr., Daniel Beckwith, Maghan McDonald, Tiffany Beckwith, Johnny Griffin, Michael Beckwith and Ashley Allen. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Lee Memory Gardens Chapel (2600 Hawkins Ave, Sanford, NC 27330).
