He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gene Honaker and Nellie Mae Honaker-Anderson of Saxon, WV.; his brothers-in-law, Joey "Biggin" Wills, Eddie Milam and Ronnie Cooper; and his niece Melissa Wills-Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Wilkie Honaker; his daughters, Kristen Kay Honaker Fuqua (Cam) of Henderson, NC and Destiney Schalk of Sanford, NC.; his grandchildren, Kayley Speagle, Karmen Schalk and Andy Schalk; and his siblings, Linda Cooper of Saxon, WV, Sharon Milam Stoots (Chris) of Littlestown, PA, Anita Snuffer (Thomas) of Vass, NC, Sandra Wills of Arnett, WV, Freddie Honaker (Olivia) of Oak Hill, WV and Kevin Honaker (Cindy) of Saxon, WV.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Life Springs Church (3215 Keller-Andrews Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at the Buffalo Cemetery (1130 Fire Tower Rd, Sanford, NC 27330).
