It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Bass of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bobby may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Thomas Bass and Sadie Ruth Watson Bass. He is survived by: his children, Autumn (Chuck), Holly McConnell and Shawn Bass (William); and his siblings, Charles Bass (Pam), Sandra (Ninfa), Sara Combs, Joyce Page and Anne Lawrence (Dale). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
