With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Daniel Holder of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Daniel Holder Sr. and Georgie Hickman Holder; his daughter Andrea Holder; his siblings, Bonnie H. Quesenberry (Ezra), Lib H. Cameron, Patsy H. Smith and William "Mac" Holder (Becky); his half-sister Peggy H. Wooten; and his brother-in-law Burlon McDuffie.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Mayne Holder; his son-in-law Brent Weaver (Jamie); his granddaughter Carleigh Weaver; his siblings, Nancy H. McDuffie, Polly H. Bouldin, Alexander Daniel "Danny" Holder Jr. (Suzan) and Tommy E. Holder (Tessia); and his brothers-in-law, Warren "Smitty" Smith and John E. Cameron.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swann Station Baptist Church (7592 NC-87, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Cameron Grove Cemetery.
