With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Lee McNeill of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Robert Knight and Katie Lee McLeod Knight; and her siblings, John Knight, Jr., William Jennings Knight, Jesse Knight, Lucy McLemore and Clara Mae Williams.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Binkley (Tommy) of Broadway, Pam Mimms of Sanford and Ruth Britt of Sanford; her sisters, Lois Lewis of High Point and Katie Marie Brown of Lillington; and her grandchildren, Kevin Baker (Wendy) of Siler City, Jordan Binkley (Heather) of Broadway, Maigon Fisher (Chuck) of Broadway, Cesily Evans (Bubba) of Olivia, Joshua Holman of Newton Grove, Brittany Coley of Sanford and Carl Britt of Sanford. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

“So sad to hear about the loss of your Mother. I always loved being around her. She'd make you laugh & always look you in the eyes when speaking to you. I'll keep you girls in my prayers.
