He was predeceased by: his father Phil Yarborough; and his siblings, Mary Yarborough Bridgers, Philip Chaffin Yarborough, Jr., Rufus Melvin Yarborough, Wilma Yarborough Berryhill and Janet Yarborough Kelly.
He is survived by: his mother Wilma Hartness Yarborough (Carol); his wife Ann Holt Yarborough; his children, Michael Yarborough (Alexsandra), Elizabeth Schrull (John) and Tim Yarborough; his granddaughters, Katie Schrull Jarett (Wilson) and Mollie Schrull Ellis (William); and his great grandchild Elizabeth Adams Ellis.
