With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Allmon (Sanford, North Carolina), born in East Liverpool, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charles left this world on October 9, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Tice and Myra Seevers Allmon Tice; and his sister Jeannette Allmon Nease of East Liverpool, OH.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Crawford Allmon; his children, Arthur Allmon (Patty) of Raleigh, NC, Debbie Westfall (Frank) of Sanford, NC and Susan Allmon of Sanford, NC.; his granddaughters, Jennifer Westfall Hart (Marcus), Christina Cottrell Norman (Garrett) and Carol Ann Cottrell; and his pet Peanut.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Apostolic Church (315 E Weatherspoon St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Many years he drove to Chapel Hill to donate blood for cancer patients receiving a certificate for donating 8 gallons to eventually needing their cancer treatment, surviving but unable to donate any longer.
