It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Miriam Thomas of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis H. Hall and Elna Todd Hall; and her daughter Jo Ann Thomas Baker. She is survived by: her siblings, Lynton Hall, Dorothy Hall Wofford and Myrtle Lee Gaster; her husband Fred Ray Thomas; her children, David Thomas (Janice) and Cathy Pender (Rick); her son-in-law Dewitt Baker; her grandchildren, Brian Thomas (Amber), Amy Thomas Lundy (Duncan), Marcia Baker Buchanan (Jeff), Melanie Baker Farmer (Moses), Gene Garner (Heather) and Misty Johnson (BJ); and her great grandchildren, Madison Farmer, Gavin Farmer, Mackinley Farmer, Jaden Buchanan, Davis Lundy, Walker Lundy, Hudson Lundy, Logan Thomas, Dustin Thomas, Tenley Thomas, Hannah Johnson, Matthew Farlow, Jessica Markham, Peyton Garner, Aime Pender and Ashley Pender Garton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
