Clawson Raymond Patterson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clawson Raymond Patterson of Sanford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Patterson and Marie Pierce Patterson; and his siblings, Lester Randolph Patterson, Viola Jewel Patterson and Mildred Lucille Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Holt Patterson; his daughters, Regina Patterson and Rachel Patterson Brown (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brandon Butler (Karly), Makayla Butler (Chris), Lauren Floyd (Titus), Paige Brown and Jordan Brown; his great grandchildren, DJ, Broughton, Luna, Kaeson and Wesley; and his brother Charlie Lee Patterson (Lib). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hunt Springs Baptist Church (1557 St Andrews Church Rd, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Buffalo Cemetery (1333 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
