He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Boykin and Samuel Jameson; his siblings, Clarence, Ricky Boykin and Octavia Boykin Daily; his children, Tony (Myra), Rodney (Donna), Erica and Randy (Crystal); and his grandchildren, Debbie, Tiffany, Antonio, Forante, Dawniell, KaShaun, Jamiek, Jaylen, Jazmine and Rhayden.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Allen; and his siblings, Victor (Kelly), Nancy (Jimmy) and Albertina Buie. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
