It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Kivett of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Coggins Kivett and Paul Kivett; and his brother Douglas Evans. He is survived by: his wife Diane Black Kivett; his daughters, Crystal Kivett Weichelt (Travis) and Melissa Kivett Cox (Bryan); his siblings, Danny Kivett (Pat) and Debbie Harris; his grandchildren, Bryson Ludwig (Racquel), Callie Ludwig, Michaela Ciechowski (Kenneth), Caleb Perkins, Savannah Weichelt, Jaxson Weichelt, Maxton Cox and Alivia Cox; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Blakley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christian Faith Ministries (3110 Cameron Dr, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nueva Visión Church (2626 Watson Ave, Sanford, NC 27332). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Buffalo Cemetery (1333 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
