She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey W. Poole and Norene Fields Choplin; her husband Lonnie Spivey Jr.; and her sister Lucille P. Buchanan. She is survived by: her daughters, Leslee Spivey and Lucille Rice (John); her sister Marquetta Baker (Ralph); her grandchildren, Daniel Ratliff (Alicia), Timothy Ratliff (Lindsay), Elizabeth Charles (Derwin) and Michael Rice (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Cohen Ratliff, Luci Ratliff, Evelynne Ratliff, Brahm Ratliff, Suzi Ratliff, Hallie Charles, Kelsey Charles and Derwin Charles; and her close friends, Jeannie Garrell and Mike Tannenbaum. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
