She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Elmer Douglas and Mamie Godfrey Douglas; her husbands, George Patterson, James "Jim" Britt and Henry Stovall; her grandson Jason Scott Thomas; and her sisters, Linda Douglas and Wilma Douglas (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Thomas (Danny) of Sanford; her granddaughter Crystal Whitaker (Nick); and her brother Carl Douglas (Ida Jean) of Sanford. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Buffalo Cemetery (1333 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
