She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Sloan and Blanche Lett Sloan; her husband Rufus Henry Thomas; her son Rufus Brady Thomas; and her siblings, Nettie Belle Garner, John Sloan, Carlie Sloan, Fred Sloan and Frank Sloan.
She is survived by: her son Milton Thomas (Connie) of Sanford, NC; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Wicker, Jason Thomas (Brandee), Joshua Thomas and Derrick Sharpe (Chris). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
