She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Chrisco and Ollie Lassiter Chrisco; her son Johnny Ray Joyner; and her brothers, Fred, Junior, James and Edward Chrisco.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence; her children, LaVerne Joyner of Sanford, Shelia Joyner of Sanford and George C. Joyner, II of Sanford; her sisters, Louise Francis of Indiana, Maggie Bristoe of Carthage, Ann Black (James) of East Bend and Emma Yow of Seagrove; her daughter-in-law Diane Joyner; her grandchildren, Melissa Bray (Rob) of Carthage, Audra Edwards (Ryan) of Augusta, Jonathan Joyner (April) of Deep River and Skylar Donathan of Sanford; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Jane Bray of Carthage, Jeremiah Joyner-Staley of Pennsylvania, Skylaleigh Donathan of Sanford and Cynthia Moore (Chris) of Deep River.
