He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Womack and Eva Womack; his wife Peggy Moss Womack; and his siblings, Sidney Womack Jr., John B. Womack, Lois Parson, Nellie Hockaday and Jennie Lou Dawkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Audrey Womack, Frankie Durham (Mark) and Wendy Smith (J. Fred Alexander); his grandchildren, Dana Mauldin (Scott), Kasey Sanders (Chris), Crystal Scott (Drew), Andrew Thompson (Cassie) and Adam Smith; his great grandchildren, Ian, Sydney Pomeranz, Caroline Mauldin, Reese, Colton Sanders, Regan Thompson, Aiden, Caryn, Charlotte Scott, Nate, Jake, Peyton Mauldin, Brian (Kristie), Mikayla, Dakota Smith, Taylor, McKayla and Ashton; and his sister-in-law Faye Cline.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baptist Chapel Church (2413 Buckhorn Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
