He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick C. Savina and Myrtle Eloise Settles Savina; and his brother Jimmy S. Savina. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Keye Savina; his son Frederick Lee Savina, II; his siblings, Jack Savina (Debbie) and Joyce Lowther; and his grandchildren, Kyle Savina and Rebecca Stump (Billy).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hunt Springs Baptist Church (1557 St Andrews Church Rd, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Jonesboro Cemetery Cemetery.
