She was predeceased by: her parents, Onslow Bullard and Florine Bullard; her husband JD; her stepdaughter Carolyn Brown (Lindy); her siblings, MacLauren Bullard (Becky), Carlisle Bullard (Elsie), Archie Bullard (Hettie) and Patricia Morrow; her siblings-in-law, Narvalene Noe (Grover), Mattie Wise Fairy (Bonnie), Alma Hendrix Adelaide (John), Marion Heckle (Inez), Julias Heckle (Daisy) and Sonny Heckle; and her grandfather Ransom Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Heckle (Deborah) of Sanford and Donna Heckle (Jack Brickey) of Sanford; her grandchildren, Logann Welborn (Matthew) of Pfafftown, Casey Brickey of Raleigh, Halton Brickey of Austin, TX and Cody Heckle (Natalie) of Sanford; her great grandchildren, Laurel, Meadow, Henderson, Evander, Flora and Ransom; her friend Louise Ray; her close friend Lucille Cameron; Dee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
