He is survived by: his wife Denise Davis Whitaker; his children, Larry Clifford Whitaker (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Whitaker Collins (Sam); his grandchildren, Ansleigh Whitaker, Jase Whitaker, Pressly Collins and Parker Collins; his pet Bella; his siblings, Richard Benjamin Whitaker (Alice), Asa Michael Whitaker (Mitszi), David Gerald Whitaker, Cathy W. Howard (Keith), Johnny Eugene Whitaker (Deborah), Steven Douglas Allmond (Katherine) and Angela Cindy Allmond; and his parents-in-law, Diane Davis and Larry Davis (Cheryl). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
