He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Gordon Womble and Lobera Johnson Womble; and his siblings, Gerald Womble and Doris Womble Dowdy. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Lawton Womble; his children, Travis Womble (Rae Ann), Arnold Womble (Sylvia) and Mary Herring (David); and his brother Raymond Womble (Peggy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
