He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jones and Maeola Jones; and his brother Charlie Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Jones; his children, James Edwards Jones, Lee Tisha Jones, Raynard Jones and Janice Williams; his grandchildren, Mauri Mckoy (Bruce), Thaddeus Patterson and Ariana Alli; his sister Alice Faye Jones; his nephew Geno Williams; and his friend Jimmy Hudson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Calvary Baptist Church (240 Fields Dr, Sanford, NC 27330).
